This rich plum wine has a strong flavor of plums that can still be fully experienced even when water is added. Ripe plums exhibit a pale yellow color, resembling small peaches. Unlike green plums, ripe plums have a gentle acidity with a light sweet aroma.

Rich and full of acidity, just as its name suggests, this "Tsuruume Suppai" plum wine leaves a lasting impression.

As the "Land of Plums," Wakayama Prefecture has the highest plum production in Japan, accounting for approximately 60% of the country's production. The Nankou plum produced there, specifically in the Kishu region, is well-known nationwide. In the Tsuruume Suppai plum wine, only high-quality ripe Nankou plums are selected for making the plum wine.

To maximize the acidity of the plums, we use three times the usual amount of plums for soaking. Ripe plums bring a gentle sweetness and the natural acidity of the plums themselves.
