Q1: Why does SakeSale insist on end-to-end cold chain delivery? Sake, especially Namazake and Ginjo types, is highly sensitive to temperature. We maintain a strict 0-5°C cold chain—from the brewery in Japan to our climate-controlled warehouse and finally to your doorstep via SF Cold Chain. This prevents heat-induced spoilage and preserves the delicate "Ginjo" aroma.
Q2: Do I need to refrigerate the sake immediately upon arrival? Yes. To maintain peak flavor, we strongly recommend storing your sake in a refrigerator at 0-5°C immediately. Avoid storing bottles in the fridge door, as frequent opening causes temperature fluctuations that can affect quality.
🚚 Orders & Shipping
Q3: What are the shipping costs? Do you offer free delivery? We offer FREE professional cold-chain delivery for all orders over HK$380. For orders below this amount, a flat shipping fee of HK$60 will be applied.
Q4: How long does delivery take? For in-stock items ordered before 2:00 PM on business days, delivery can be expected as early as the next day. During peak seasons (e.g., Lunar New Year), please refer to our homepage announcements for the final shipping cutoff dates.
Q5: Do you offer self-pickup? To ensure the integrity of the sake's quality through continuous temperature control, we currently focus on professional cold-chain delivery and do not offer self-pickup services.

Q6: Does sake have an expiration date? Sake doesn't have a strict expiration date but has a "Best Before" period. Generally, it is best enjoyed within 1 year of the production date (or 3-6 months for Namazake). As long as it is stored at 0-5°C, it remains safe to drink even after this period, though the flavor profile will evolve.
Q7: What should I do if my bottle arrives damaged or leaking? Please take a photo and contact our WhatsApp Customer Service +852 5951 7745 within 24 hours of signing for the package. Once confirmed, we will immediately arrange for a replacement or a refund.
