In 2023, "Fuku Chiyo Sake Brewery" celebrates its 100th anniversary. In 2011, the brewery received the highest award, “Champion Sake,” in the sake category at the “International Wine Challenge (IWC),” which is regarded as the largest and most authoritative wine competition in the world. Since 2012, Fuku Chiyo Sake Brewery has also initiated a sake tourism project, actively promoting Kashima City as the “World's Number One Sake City,” contributing not only to the sake industry but also to the regional revitalization of Saga.
