Takachiyo 59 "Mori no Kuma-san" is an adorable name. Takachiyo 59 is brewed from various rice varieties from all over Japan, polished down to 59%, and has a fruity taste that pairs well with food. The rice used, "Mori no Kuma-san," combines the best qualities of "Hi no Hikari" and "Koshihikari," making it not only excellent as table rice but also a popular sake rice. The name was given by Natsume Soseki, who used to live in Kumamoto Prefecture.
