Description


This fresh sake has a delicate effervescence and a unique flavor of "arabashiri." It has aromas ranging from bananas and grapes to herbal tea, and subtle flavors of shirota and sweetness from the rice. On the palate, it is refreshing with no cloudiness or impurities, and radiates a bright shine. Despite its lightness, it has a rich flavor.

The origin of "Shizengo" dates back to the fourth generation of Oki Daikichi, who pursued the traditional method of brewing sake using only rice. The brewery signed contracts with local farmers to use pesticide-free rice, which was rare at the time, for brewing. In 1974, to express gratitude for the abundant nature of Yabuki, they launched a product called "No Additive Sake - Shizengo."
