This New Year limited-edition sake is designed around the zodiac sign of 2026, the “Horse.” It is brewed using the “2-grain Yamadanishiki” concept, featuring top-quality Yamadanishiki rice from Yamaguchi Prefecture and spring water filtered through limestone strata. The result expresses rich grain flavors, transparent and refined sweetness, and layered minerality.

For the drinking vessel, Ohmine specially commissioned the renowned Hagi ware kiln “Tahara Toubei Workshop,” which has continued since the early Edo period, to create an exclusive sake cup inspired by the “bajō-hai.” This cup symbolizes victory and prosperity, carrying auspicious meaning, and together with its elegant New Year design, enhances the refined atmosphere of celebratory occasions.
