From Kyoto’s Fushimi district, Nichinichi Jozo presents its special limited edition Homase, brewed with the rare heritage rice Homase from the Kikuchi River basin in Kumamoto Prefecture — a variety revived through natural farming by Hananoka Shuzo, a brewery closely connected with Nichinichi.

Originally cultivated widely across Kyushu during the Edo period, Homase rice thrives through organic methods that express the vitality of the land. Sake brewed from this grain captures Nichinichi’s signature transparency and the rice’s gentle umami — a beautiful balance of tradition and innovation in a bottle.
