Description
Poured into the glass, it immediately reveals Morishima’s signature freshness with a slight effervescence, accompanied by citrus-tinged fruity acidity. On the palate, it expresses a clear sense of transparency and a straight, linear structure that extends cleanly through to the finish. The overall profile is light in umami, crisp, and sharply defined—a dry, clean style that makes it an excellent food-pairing sake.

This release is brewed using “Hitachi Nishiki,” a locally developed sake rice from Ibaraki, and represents the driest expression within the Morishima lineup as a freshly pressed namazake. Although it is a genshu, the alcohol level is adjusted to 15%, achieving both a polished texture and strong versatility as a dining sake.

The label design incorporates Oya stone from a collapsed storehouse damaged during the Great East Japan Earthquake, symbolizing the resilience to continue brewing and the determination to constantly evolve and take new steps forward. The renewed Morishima now presents an even more refined and sophisticated expression, well worth savoring.
