"Katsuyama Junmai Ginjo Ken" is carefully brewed using the Yamada Nishiki rice variety, known for its suitability for sake brewing, and presents an elegant aroma and delicious rice flavor. Its rich taste makes it an excellent match for dishes that feature refined ingredients, light flavors, or seafood.

"Katsuyama Junmai Ginjo Ken" was awarded the "Champion Sake" title in the SAKE division of the 2019 International Wine Challenge (IWC), the world's largest and most authoritative wine competition. Previous awards include winning Japan's largest retail sake evaluation event, the SAKE COMPETITION, for consecutive years from 2015 and achieving second place in 2016 and 2017. In addition, it received platinum awards for two consecutive years at the French sake event KURA MASTER in 2018 and 2019. It also received a platinum award at the Japanese sake evaluation event for French people and the runner-up award in the "Ginjo Division" at the American sake evaluation event.
