This sake is the most delicious among Kankiku's offerings. It carries the unique style of Kankiku with a soothing aroma and a smooth mouthfeel, pleasantly sweet with a hint of mild acidity.

"Beyond" is an ultra-limited series, with only one batch produced each year as a fresh sake. Normally, Kankiku Meijo uses Yamada Nishiki, Omachi, and Aiyama as the main sake rice, which are widely used by breweries across Japan. However, for this sake, they use a rice variety called "Fusanomai," which has larger rice grains at its core. This sake is likely the highest refined limited edition of Kankiku's brews, created with the aim to fully utilize the unique characteristics of this rice and "create a product that goes beyond itself, envisioning future possibilities."
