Jikkoku marks the beginning of a new challenge. From Matsuyama Sake Brewery in Kyoto comes the brand-new limited series “Koseki.” This series represents the toji Takagaki’s vision—bringing to life “the sake he has always wanted to brew” and “styles that may one day become flagship expressions,” all produced in small, limited batches.

The first release, “Koseki No.1 Diamond,” was conceived two years ago, with the goal of one day incorporating the Kyoto-grown “Iwai” rice into Jikkoku’s brewing—now finally realized. The subtitle “Diamond,” symbolizing “bonds,” sets the theme, and future releases will feature different gemstones reflected in label color variations. As the starting point of Jikkoku’s new chapter, this “Koseki” invites you to savor its story and character.
