This sake boasts a fresh aroma with a clear umami flavor and the nuances of hops, while the acidity is also prominent. It is not aggressive but presents a strong umami and lively acidity, leaving a refreshing aftertaste and impression. The calligraphy on the bottle is created by calligrapher Tsuji Ikki.

In Akita Prefecture, INEtoAGAVE will serve as the name for craft sake, referred to as “Kōsake,” reflecting the fusion of Japanese sake with other cultures. The term “Hanakaze” draws its “Hana” from the Japanese name for hops, and “Kaze” from the strong winds of the Oga region, which forms the concept of the craft series. Through “Hanakaze”, this craft sake expresses a strong desire to bring a new breeze to the industry.
