'Beniazuma' is a variety commonly used for cooking, especially for roasted sweet potatoes, known for its mild texture and exceptionally sweet flavor. When made into sweet potato shochu, it has a slightly dry taste, allowing you to clearly taste the sweet and rich aroma reminiscent of chestnuts.

In order to bring out the full potential of sweet potatoes, 'Houzan' created the 'Josen Series' with an alcohol content of 25 degrees. The carefully selected sweet potatoes are sourced from contracted farmers who cultivate 'Beniazuma,' which has a beautiful deep reddish-purple skin and orange flesh. It has a powdery texture with fewer fibers and is renowned for its excellent mouthfeel. Although it has less water content, the unique sweetness spreads out once it enters the mouth.

It is characterized by its rich sweet potato aroma and a lingering aftertaste.
