Description

Unlike the lively and exuberant effervescence typically associated with the Queen series, the Regal Edition presents a quieter and more refined elegance. Rather than emphasizing vibrancy, it focuses on graceful depth and a lingering, sophisticated finish. The aroma is remarkably expressive, offering notes of milk caramel alongside delicate hints of white peach. On the palate, it is smooth and polished, unfolding with elegant sweetness, rich umami, and a vibrant lactic acidity that provides both structure and freshness. The texture is glossy and crystalline, showcasing the full character of the rice while remaining exceptionally approachable. Its lingering finish gradually permeates the palate, revealing new layers as the temperature changes. Presented in an all-white bottle and gift box, it also makes an outstanding gift.

The Queen series was born from the pursuit of unlocking the full potential of the table-rice variety Nikomaru. Because table rice is rarely used for Ginjo-class sake brewing, the brewery chose an extraordinary polishing ratio of 25% for the kake rice—a playful reference to the pronunciation of "Niko" (25) and "maru." This level of polishing surpasses that of many conventional Daiginjo sake. For the Regal Edition, only naturally free-run sake is collected without applying pressure during pressing. By avoiding mechanical pressure, excess amino acids are not extracted, resulting in an exceptionally pure, transparent, and refined flavor profile.
