It presents a light peach-orange color. Initially, the refreshing aroma of vanilla from the barrel source instantly emerges, leaving an elegant impression. Subsequently, scents of pomegranate, strawberry, and blueberry from red wine blend with the fragrance of pear and milk from Japanese sake.

Upon first sip, the unique acidity of red wine imparts a refreshing overall sensation. The aroma of berries and oak barrel unfolds in the mouth, creating an illusion that one might mistake it for drinking red wine.

Pairing well with dishes such as grilled beef, garlic-roasted seafood with olive oil, and yogurt, this sake exhibits excellent compatibility.

This Japanese sake, titled "Hanahato×Curvedochi Fusion 2022 Charming," is aged in Merlot red wine barrels by Curvdotch Winery in Niigata Prefecture. Subsequently, the barrel is transferred to Hiroshima Enokishuzo, where it is used to age the prestigious sake "Hanahato." Over a period of 160 days, this sake undergoes maturation in the oak barrel.
