Description


This sake has a refreshing aroma with subtle notes of green apple and pear. The taste is fresh and fruity with a light and smooth texture. There is a faint milk fragrance from the starch, but overall, the taste is clean and has a mild sweetness with a pear-like fruitiness.

The texture is silky and soft, with a fresh green tone that provides a very pleasant mouthfeel.

The "Abe" series is a collection started by the sixth-generation Yuta Abe in 26BY. After tasting several kinds of sake, Abe wanted to materialize the flavor he found delicious and thus created this brand. The series focuses on rice produced in Niigata prefecture, such as Gohyakumangoku and Yamadanishiki, with aims to pursue "deliciousness."

This sake is a junmai ginjo namazake made from "Rakuhuumai" produced in Niigata. It has a slightly starchy taste.

Rakuhuumai is a blend of Gohyakumangoku (sake rice) and Don't-Koi (eating rice). It has a higher tolerance for polishing than Gohyakumangoku and has a clear and transparent characteristic similar to Gohyakumangoku.
