This sake uses yeast isolated from a specific rose. Named "Princess Michiko (プリンセスミチコ)," this rose was presented in 1966 by the then Crown Princess Michiko, now Empress Michiko, by Dixon company in the UK.

The sake employs yeast, named PM-1, isolated from this noble and vibrant orange-colored rose. The unique, elegant, and splendid sweet fragrance of this floral yeast harmonizes perfectly with the rich sake qualities of "Yokoyama."
