This sake has undergone a change in the koji mold to Pure Black, resulting in a fully fermented nama-zake with residual sugar content below 0.1%. It carries a fragrant aroma of carefully brewed sake. When first opened, there's a slight effervescence on the palate, accompanied by a pleasant freshness. The fruitiness is rich and juicy, and the overall taste is dry and delightful.

This sake is released in celebration of the 120th anniversary of the founding of Yamamoto Sake Brewery and the 10th anniversary of renaming Yamamoto Kuro (Black) Label to Pure Black. The gift box includes a bottle-shaped cooler bag and a bottle of specially brewed Pure Black fully fermented nama-zake.

The cooler bag features a design reminiscent of a champagne bottle, with an outer layer made of polyurethane resin and an inner layer coated with tin film through lamination. There is some space at the top and bottom to insert small ice packs at the base, further enhancing the insulation effect.
