Description

This sake is brewed with a spirit of revival following the earthquake, using Yamahai Junmai as the base, which is blended with Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo. The robust acidity of the Yamahai Junmai beautifully complements the elegant flavor of the Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo, creating a brand new “Tengumai” that showcases the unique art of assemblage.

This is a reconstruction support sake launched by the Ishikawa Sake Breweries Association, aimed at raising funds for the Noto Peninsula earthquake in the sixth year of Reiwa. Currently, 18 breweries are participating. For each bottle sold, 200 yen will be donated as disaster relief funds.

Moreover, the label of this sake was created as part of the BS Fuji television program “Kondo Koyama's Tokyo Conference” and designed using the creative input of Mr. Hiroyuki Ishihara. The label features a piece of continuous origami representing the shape of Ishikawa Prefecture, symbolizing the strong bond between the breweries and the collective desire of the local people for unity and revival. Different sake varieties have labels distinguished by different colors, with “Tengumai” featuring an elegant purple as its hallmark.

To achieve long-term support for the disaster area, after the special Yamahai Junmai version sells out, other versions of “Tengumai” will continue to be offered. We sincerely hope that this sake can provide assistance to the disaster zone.
