Description

This sake features a balanced taste of sweetness, acidity, spiciness, and bitterness, along with the characteristic of "Kyoto Hana No. 1," which is "a gentle and rich flavor and a delightful aftertaste". Compared to fresh sake, it undergoes one-time pasteurization, reducing its sweetness. Through bottle aging and low-temperature maturation, the sake becomes even smoother.

The flagship product of the Tatsuzumi label, making its debut with pasteurization!

"Kyoto Hana No. 1" is an improved variety of "Kyoto Hana," originally from Yamagata Prefecture, developed independently in Fukushima Prefecture in the 1950s. Although it disappeared later on, in 1983, Tatsuzumi Shuzo started a revival planting project in collaboration with local farmers, which continues to this day. In 2016, it was registered as a Fukushima Prefecture-origin variety brand.
