This extremely rare masterpiece of a sake is the Takachiyo Sake Brewery's 155th anniversary commemorative "Kouryuu" ice-temperature aged brew.

Using Yamada Nishiki rice, polished to 40%, and brewed with utmost care during the chilly seasons, this sake has been aged for 8 years, exhibiting a unique flavor profile that is richer and deeper.

This ice-temperature aged sake is an exceptionally rare find, with limited availability even to those who know how to appreciate it. It has a clear light amber color after aging, a smooth and nutty texture typical of aged sake, a unique sweetness akin to caramel, and a depth of complexity that is both captivating and enticing.

Named "Kouryuu" or "Kou Goushin" (meaning "High Dragon"), this sake is one of Takachiyo Sake Brewery's latest creations, manufactured in 2015 to meet the premium specifications of the appraisal committee.

It is a precious gem that has been cold-aged at -2°C for an extended period of time and comes in a simple packaging adorned with the magnificent letters of the "High Dragon" name.
