This yuzu liqueur incorporates three forms of yuzu. Firstly, freshly squeezed yuzu juice is used. Secondly, yuzu flower fragrance is extracted from the peel using special techniques. Lastly, concentrated yuzu essence retains all aromatic components of yuzu. Through these combinations, it achieves a fresh and exquisite taste akin to fresh yuzu.

Upon opening the bottle, a refreshing and pleasant yuzu aroma greets you. Amidst the bitterness and acidity of yuzu peel, a subtle sweetness gently emerges. The taste is extremely refreshing and pairs well with food, making it an excellent choice for dining. The alcohol content is 20% ABV, slightly higher than typical liqueurs.

Direct consumption is not recommended. It is best enjoyed mixed with soda water in a 1:1 ratio with plenty of ice, creating a refreshing soda cocktail. With an alcohol content reduced to around 10%, it is easy to drink. For a sweeter taste, adding a bit of syrup or honey enhances the gentle sweetness and fresh acidity.

This yuzu liqueur, introduced by Kochi's longstanding Suigei Brewery, is meticulously brewed using abundant fresh yuzu, a specialty of Kochi Prefecture, known for its highest yuzu production in Japan. The bottle's refreshing green color adorned with yuzu flowers makes for an attractive design. The product name "Yuzuyaka" means "true yuzu!" in the Tosa dialect.
