This is the fourth installment of the Tsukyu series, brewed with the locally developed brand rice “Ginga no Shizuku” from Iwate Prefecture and the original yeast from Iwate “Giovanni's Melody.”

After pressing, it is swiftly bottled and stored. It offers a refreshing and light taste with a hint of fizziness and acidity. Please fully enjoy the evolving flavors crafted by the toji (master brewer) Hiromi Ono.

The term “Tsukyu” refers to the universe and sky that surrounds us. It is derived from a character in Shiwa Town and serves as the name for this new brand. As a local brewery originating from Nanbu Toji, we have challenged ourselves to use the “sour base brewing” method, which maximizes the rice's aroma, by handcrafting this ancient yet innovative production technique. Its intoxicating quality feels as if one is gently floating in the sky, bringing peace and relaxation to the spirit. While safeguarding the solid foundations of a local brewery, under the leadership of talented and powerful toji, our brewery's craftsmen flexibly respond to the demands of the times and challenge new brewing methods, giving rise to this new brand.
