Description

This whiskey has an aroma of vanilla and creamy sweetness, with a crispy aroma similar to milk skin. The taste has hints of milk chocolate, caramel pudding, and sweet barley. The finish leaves a pleasant and lingering aftertaste of vanilla and fruity notes.

This whiskey is the third in the "W" series and the second version of the "Pot Still W" series, continuing the tradition of "Prologue W". It is exclusively made from original sake produced by the distillation pot W and is 100% made from Japanese malted barley, making it very unique.

Not only is it a single malt whiskey (using only original sake from a single distillery), but the entire original sake is from a single first distillation pot. Therefore, it is labeled as a "Single Wash Still Whiskey," which is a unique expression of Shizuoka Distillery.

Unlike the previous work, which used 100% foreign malt, this whiskey is 100% made from Japanese malted barley.

The product name is the latest work of the "W" series and the first version, made from 100% Japanese malted barley, hence being named "Pot Still W Pure Japanese Barley First Edition."
