Description

This whiskey has a floral sweetness, as well as the aroma of herbs and malt. On the palate, it has the rich and mellow flavor of malt, the sweetness of grains, and the sweet and rich flavors brought by bourbon casks. The finish has a woody aroma with a slight peat aftertaste.

This is a single malt whiskey from the "Contact S" series. It is the first time that the original sake with different personalities from Shizuoka Distillery's prized first-retained Distillation Pot K and W are blended together. Through this blend, an intuitive, pleasant, balanced, and complete taste was achieved.

The vapor-heated K brings fruity and fresh flavors, forming the upper part of the circle. On the other hand, the wood-fired W brings a strong taste and persistent aftertaste, supporting the lower part of the circle.

The main raw materials are Japanese-grown barley malt, mixed with Scottish peat malt, non-peat malt, and malt for beer. The barrels mainly use once-filled bourbon casks, with other types of casks such as Quarter Casks also added.

This single malt whiskey embodies the essence of Shizuoka Distillery's wooden fermentation barrels and distillation machine.
