This shochu has a rich and solid mouthfeel, featuring abundant sweet aromas of sweet potato and a full-bodied flavor, making it one of the most beloved imo shochus.

Once, there was a tea house for the Satsuma clan lord near the sake brewery, which is why we named our brand "Satsuma Tea House." With the help of high-quality subterranean water from Komitake, we craft shochu with great care as a locally rooted, artisanal brewery. This is a sweet potato shochu made using traditional ceramic fermentation. In contrast to "Murao," which uses domestic rice koji, "Satsuma Tea House" utilizes Thai rice.
