Description

This unpasteurized, unfiltered sake presents an elegant and refreshing noble aroma, coupled with a deep and rich flavor. The unique freshness of new sake, combined with the just-right cloudiness, showcases the authentic and original taste.

Celebrating the abundant harvest in Japan, this sake is crafted for the Harvest Appreciation Festival, known as "Raifuku Junmai Daiginjo Reiwa 4th Year Harvest Appreciation Festival Muroka Nama Genshu."

While Junmai Daiginjo is typically brewed during the severe cold season, for the Harvest Appreciation Festival, freshly harvested rice is used as the raw material. Brewed in October, it fully demonstrates the skills of the sake brewers, challenging themselves to create the best sake to be released on November 23rd.

November 23rd was once the festival of Niiname-sai, which continued until the 22nd year of Showa. Niiname-sai is still held in the Imperial Palace today. During the festival, the Emperor offers newly harvested rice to the deities and expresses gratitude for the year's harvest by consuming these grains.
