Description

With a gentle aroma, accompanied by a hint of sweetness, and a refreshing taste, this sake has a slightly elevated alcohol content, yet the alcoholic sensation is not overpowering.

Do you happen to know the story behind the "Oni-shu" series? There is a close connection between Japan's Yoshino Town and Shugendo, as the main temple of the Shugendo sect, Kinpusenji, located on Mount Yoshino, is said to have been founded by the founder of Shugendo, En no Gyoja. His original name was "Yakushi Nyorai," and he was believed to be a mischievous and malevolent spirit. However, he later reformed and became a disciple. Based on this story, the "Oni-shu" series of sake was born.
