This sake has a refreshing taste and aroma, with a fresh apple-like sensation and the fruity fragrance of lychee. It has a pleasant acidity and a crisp aftertaste that lingers on the palate. Highly recommended for beginners in the world of sake and also serves well as an aperitif.

Takachiyo "ShintakaChiyon" is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake with a focus on casual daytime drinking, hence the low alcohol content. The raw material used is a sake rice called "Ichihomeshi," cultivated under contracts with eight local farmers, by the brewery's chief brewer and deputy chief brewer. It is carefully milled using the "flat milling" method during the brewing process.
