Description

This whisky is inspired by him, using richly aged grain whisky as the key single malt component with a strong woody flavor. Then, carefully blended with single malt whisky aged for 30 years, among others. The sedimentation of time forms a solid and profound mouthfeel, reminiscent of Aiolos's unwavering soul, guarding the goddess Athena even after death.

Gentle aroma. Notes of apple honey, pine tarts, vanilla cream pancakes, gradually revealing aged nuances like malt chocolate over time. In the depth, there's a sour and aged sensation reminiscent of raisins.

Smooth and gentle palate. Feel a subtle tropical warmth and the sharpness of vanilla. Elegant and unfolding notes of cocoa-like acidity, sweetness, and bitterness. The balance of each element unfolds very pleasantly.

This time, we collaborated with Toei Animation to plan the "Saint Seiya Golden Saint Whisky Series" in collaboration with the anime "Saint Seiya." On December 13, 2022 (Tuesday), we will release the first product of this series, "Sagittarius Aiolos."

"Saint Seiya" was serialized by Masami Kurumada in 1985 and adapted into an anime in 1986. The story tells of Seiya, a young saint who undergoes rigorous training for six years to become a Saint for the goddess Athena.
