Sakes crafted with Yamada Nishiki rice are known for their delicate and profound aromas, smooth and rounded textures, accompanied by rich layers and a lingering finish.

An "original brew" or "junmai" signifies that no additional alcohol is added during the brewing process. It is a pure Japanese sake made only from rice and rice koji, highlighting the flavors of the rice and koji while preserving the natural sweetness of the rice and its clear rice fragrance.

Since its founding in 1804 by the first-generation founder, "Ishidayan Jisukeemon," Kokuryu Sake Brewing Corporation has consistently adhered to the manual crafting of sake. In commemoration of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Kokuryu Sake Brewing specially crafted this Junmai Daiginjo original brew, presenting it in a special edition bottle.
