Description

This "Kinsuzume Junmai Ginjo" has a fresh aroma with notes of honeydew melon and muscat grapes. Its texture is slightly sticky, yet smooth and refreshing on the palate, with a pleasant sweetness and elegance. It also has a slight effervescence, offering a juicy and clean taste that will make you want more.

Horie Shuzo, located in Nishiki-cho, Iwakuni City, is a representative brand founded in 1764. Due to its limited production, it is rare and highly sought after. They use the water of "Nishikigawa," which has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 famous waters, and carry on the traditional brewing techniques handed down from the Edo period.

Horie Shuzo has been consistent in adhering to the traditional brewing method of Japanese sake, while also exploring new possibilities. Their "Kinsuzume Platinum" won the grand prize in the Pure Rice Daiginjo division at the "International Wine Challenge (IWC)" two years in a row, earning the world champion title.

Currently, it is one of the most popular and rare brands throughout the country.
