Description

This sake showcases the roughness and freshness of new sake, as well as the unique intense acidity of the original sake. It is a winter limited edition product that can only be tasted during the winter season, with a full-bodied taste.

Gentle and impressive, it has a sweet aroma of banana, sweet melon, and Nashi pear. The taste is gentle and sweet, with a thick and juicy freshness that complements the tight acidity, forming a rich and voluminous mouthfeel. With a bitter and intense flavor, the aftertaste is long-lasting. As expected from Kikuhime's style, it presents a strong taste.

"Yamahai Junmai Muroka Nama Genshu" is a winter limited edition sake released in December and February each year. This sake is bottled directly without filtration or pasteurization, preserving its fresh taste.

Using the subterranean water of Hakusan and Yamada Nishiki rice from the special A region (Yoshikawa, Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture), this sake is brewed using one of the traditional brewing techniques, the Yamahai starter method, to create a rich pure rice sake.

It goes well with winter cuisine in the Hokuriku region. Be sure to try it out!
