This spirit is a fusion of over 60 years of cask-aging technology and Kozuru Kanosuke Distillery's experience in producing Western spirits, resulting in a gentle and rich aroma.

"Mellowed Kozuru Kanosuke Cask Finish 2022" is a cask-aged rice shochu made using American white oak barrels that were used to age whisky in Kozuru Kanosuke Distillery. After the aging process, it is limited to 3,000 bottles.

In 1957, the first cask-aged rice shochu "Mellowed" was released. In 2017, Kozuru Kanosuke Distillery was established with the techniques developed by this brand as the foundation (later renamed Kozuru Kanosuke Distillery Co., Ltd. in August 2021).

"Mellowed Kozuru Kanosuke Cask Finish 2022" undergoes further aging after cask-aging with "Mellowed" in the whisky barrels at Kozuru Kanosuke Distillery, resulting in a unique cask-aged rice shochu.
