"Kazenaruko" is a crossbred variety of sake rice, created from the combination of "Tsuyuhakaze 2" and "Niigata Sake No. 28," with the development designation "Kochi No. 63." The cultivation began at the Kochi Prefecture Agricultural Technology Center in 1993 and was officially registered as a brewing rice variety in 2002.
