Through the same polishing process, the same yeast, the same alcohol content (raw sake), and the same brewing method, you can distinctly taste the differences in the characteristics of the raw rice. This raw sake is very elegant in both taste and aroma, and has undergone further maturation, resulting in a rounder flavor.

From the cold lands, this seasonal limited edition set from the highly popular brand "Houhai," crafted by two brothers, offers a drinking comparison between Yamada Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo and Houhai Rice Junmai Daiginjo.

Both Junmai Daiginjo sakes are crafted using in-house rice polishing methods, with Hyogo Prefecture's "Yamada Nishiki" used for the white label and Aomori Prefecture's "Houhai rice" for the red label, carefully polished to a 49% polishing rate, and brewed using proprietary yeast.

Regarding the raw rice, the unique sake rice "Houhai rice," exclusively contracted by Miura Shuzo, and the descendant of the "Yamada Nishiki," known as the king of sake rice, "Yamada Hoshi," were chosen, preparing for their unique Junmai Daiginjo flavor.
