Description

Once poured into the glass, the sweet and elegant aroma is delightful. Upon tasting, the rich flavor and sweetness from the special A-grade Yamada Nishiki rice comes through, along with a delicate transparency that disperses clearly. The overall flavor has depth, leaving a beautiful aftertaste that leaves a lasting impression. Overall, this is a highly perfect sake.

The ultimate traditional Daiginjo sake from Hitakami Nakadori, "Kachiiro Gourd Blue."

"Kachiiro" refers to the deep blue color of ancient Japan, originally used to dye fabrics. Given its need to have the fabric beaten to make it thicker, it was named "Kachiiro" with the Kanji character for "victory." Samurai warriors during the Kamakura period were deeply drawn to this color and often used it in their armor.

In recent years, the color has been widely adopted as "Japanese Blue," found in the national soccer team's World Cup jerseys.

"Kachiiro" also means "victory," and this sake represents good fortune, making it an excellent choice for gifting.
