This umeshu presents a beautiful amber color, emanating an elegant aroma of plums with a slightly rich undertone. Upon entry, a simple sweetness is felt, followed quickly by the burst of plum flavor. The delicate sweetness and acidity of the body are delightful, also showcasing the unique charm of Heiran Junmai sake. This is a very refined and elegant umeshu that can be enjoyed at room temperature, chilled, or on the rocks. Personally, I recommend savoring it slowly at room temperature, as it is best enjoyed neat.

Morishuzojo has launched a limited edition umeshu—HIRAN Plum. This umeshu is based on the essence of HIRAN sake, infused with the flavor of plums.
