In its finesse, it showcases a rich texture cultivated from low-yield harvests, with the unique acidity of the cool climate providing support to the palate. The finish is lingering, making it a rose wine that combines freshness with a rich mouthfeel.

At Sanzawa Farm, we cultivate grapes with care, abstaining from herbicides and fertilizers. Using the direct pressing and semi-soaking methods, we meticulously craft Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir grapes. Fermentation and aging in French oak barrels carefully present the complexity of the varieties and the flavors of the land. This wine, originating from a cool climate vineyard at an altitude of 700 meters, authentically expresses the region's characteristics. Moreover, due to the cultivation of low-yield single vineyards, this rose wine stands out globally, combining complexity with a substantial fruity character. In Japan, winemakers aspired to create a structured, dry rose wine, and this wine was born in 2008.
