This sake is a gold medal winner in the Pure Rice Sake category at the London Sake Challenge! It is brewed using 100% "Koshihikari" rice cultivated in the Kasuga terraced fields, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Kasuga settlement is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “The Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki and Amakusa Region.” This area is dotted with terraced fields that preserve the historical landscape of the Hidden Christians. In 2017, rice harvested from the Kasuga terraced fields was presented to Pope Francis by the mayor of Hirado.
