Description

This popular Junmai Daiginjo sake is known for its well-balanced and simple yet delicious taste. It has a refreshing taste without being too distinctive. It is a simple and tasty sake.

It is brewed using the popular rice brand "Morinokumasan" produced in Kumamoto Prefecture. A portion of the sales revenue will be directly donated to the "Kumamoto Castle Donation Project," the first project of which is known as "Morikuma (MORIKUMA)".

Kumamoto Castle Revitalization Memorial Sake 2022

Kumamoto Castle suffered severe damage from the "magnitude 7" earthquake that occurred on Thursday, April 14, 2016, causing serious disasters in Kumamoto Prefecture. Kumamoto Castle, which was rebuilt by Kato Kiyomasa, who is allegedly an ancestor of the Kato family, the brewer of Okada Fuji Sake Brewery, also suffered huge damages. The estimated total damage to Kumamoto Castle was 63.4 billion Japanese yen, and it may take 20 years to restore it to its condition before the earthquake. From now on, we still need your support, and Okada Fuji Sake Brewery will continue to brew sake using the rice brand "Morinokumasan" produced in Kumamoto Prefecture as the raw material, in the form of "donation project," and will continue to donate a portion of the sales revenue to support the revitalization of Kumamoto Castle directly.
