This sake is made using traditional methods, while incorporating a fresh and elegant aroma and a rich, concentrated flavor that finishes with a transparent acidity, delivering a dry and refreshing aftertaste that you're sure to enjoy.

Since the Classic Series is a lactic acid-based sake, we recommend that you enjoy it at a temperature of around 15°C to fully savor its delicious taste. This sake pairs well with dishes made with broth-based sauces, so we encourage you to try it with such dishes.

The Classic Series has been updated since 30BY and now uses raw koji in its production. For our Classic Senkin Muku Muroka Genshu, we use fully-milled Yamada Nishiki rice, which is grown in the same field as the water source used for brewing, meaning that the rice is grown using the same water source. In addition, the production process for this rice uses raw koji, which is a change we have implemented since 30BY.

Since introducing this change, we now use rapid fermentation yeast for our Modern Series and raw koji yeast for our Classic Series, making the differences in concept and process clearer.

Although this sake has long been popular, we believe that by putting in even more effort, it will become an even more beloved sake by everyone.
