This time, the brewing has been further upgraded, with the polishing ratio increased from 60% to 55%, making the overall flavor more refined and delicate, showcasing an evolved style.

A special Japanese sake that is enough to mark the beginning of 2025 has been officially born.

Founded in 1852 and also the source of the oldest existing commercially available sake yeast, "Kyōkai No.6," — the Aramasa Sake Brewery has fully renewed its raw sake released every New Year's Day, launching a new version called "No.6 New Year-type" (commonly known as N-type), which will be officially released on January 1, 2025.

The highlight of this release is its collaboration with pixel artist Hermippe, who designed the uniforms for the Japanese team at the Paris Olympics. A fusion of traditional and digital art, this represents a bold new challenge symbolizing the "New Era Japanese Sake."

The bottle of "No.6 New Year-type" is decorated with impressionist pixel art created by Hermippe — an impressive snake totem. Inspired by the letter "6," this design not only symbolizes the Kyōkai No.6 yeast but also perfectly merges the personalities of Hermippe and the Aramasa Sake Brewery.
