Description

This sake blends soft, lactic fruit aromas such as white peach, cotton candy, and yogurt with phenolic notes derived from wooden barrel fermentation. On the palate, it features a light effervescence and vivid acidity, delivering a refreshing mouthfeel. From mid-palate to finish, it builds into rich layers of umami, bitterness, and cereal-like depth. Overall, it is a medium-bodied, full-textured sake with a distinctive “primal vitality.”

After being matured for several years at low temperatures within the brewery, the sake gains added roundness, a higher degree of aromatic integration, and develops nuanced undertones of nuts and caramel — resulting in remarkable depth.

This is a rare and special sake from Aramasa Sake Brewery in Akita Prefecture, produced as one of the brewery’s few collaborative or homage-style works connected to Hananoka / Ubusuna. While the label adopts the “Ubusuna” naming style — a concept rooted in terroir and natural brewing — the sake itself is entirely brewed and matured under Aramasa’s direction, making it an extremely limited and independently crafted release.
