Description

Brewers crafted this enchanting sake with care and skillful techniques. Please enjoy it slowly. The gentle sweetness, akin to "flower honey," along with the skillful use of brewing alcohol, gives a different balance than typical Kinsuzume. Although it is a Daiginjo, the aroma is more reserved and has a slight bitterness.

Kinsuzume is a representative brand of Horie Shuzo, located in Nishiki-cho, Iwakuni City, established in 1764. Due to its limited production, it quickly sells out as soon as it is released, making it one of the rarest and sought-after brands. The brewery uses water from the clear stream "Nishiki River," selected as a hundred famous water source, and brewing techniques passed down since the Edo period.

Horie Shuzo always sticks to traditional Japanese sake brewing methods while also challenging new possibilities. In the Junmai Daiginjo category of the International Wine Challenge (IWC), "Platinum Kinsuzume" won the highest trophy. It has won two consecutive world championships.

This Japanese sake has an ultimate sophistication, and the taste is profound and rich.
