Description

This sake releases a warm and sweet aroma reminiscent of dried meat and nutmeg, with a hint of aged cheese-like flavor. The mouthfeel is smooth and balanced, allowing you to taste the warm freshness and acidity, with a moderate bitterness that leaves a pleasant feeling.

Due to its fresh flavor and rich mouthfeel, this sake is particularly suitable for pairing with seafood dishes, especially high-grade seafood dishes.

It is recommended to heat the sake to around 50°C before drinking to enjoy it to the fullest.

The "Kurotonbo" series from Izumibashi Brewery is made from "homegrown sake rice," "artisanal fermentation," and "a 2-year aging period." The "Momoiro Kurotonbo" uses locally grown "Shinriki" rice, which comes from Kumamoto Prefecture and is cultivated in Kanagawa Prefecture's Satte City.
