Amagaeru Clear Prototype 4: This sake has a pleasant aroma of pear. Along with the sweetness, a refreshing acidity can also be perceived, and the bubble sensation is still quite strong. The freshness and refreshing taste are rich and easy to drink, with a delicious taste. Though light, it has a permeating sensation and deliciousness.

Amaneko Kai Sparkling: The aroma carries woody notes from the barrel, with a slightly bitter acidity detectable. There is a tense feeling in the mouth when taking a sip, is this due to the bitterness from the barrel? While enjoying every sip, a thick sweetness can be definitely felt more than in the case of the previous sake, making it even sweeter. Although the former is not particularly light and refreshing, the latter has a richer taste.

This year's lineup includes the "Aramasa Annual Fermentation Report 2022 Private Lab Extreme Part II" brand experimental series - "Amagaeru Clear Prototype 4" and "Amaneko Kai Sparkling".

The "Amagaeru Clear Prototype 4" included in this distribution is the final experimental version that has been subjected to unique storage conditions and pasteurization treatment.

Amaneko is a type of Japanese sake brewed using white koji mold that produces a high content of citric acid, belonging to the "high acid content" category of sake. The type of sake included in this distribution is the "Amaneko 'Kai' Sparkling" which specification is mainly on the use of white koji for practically all hanging rice (using over 20% rice). This "Kai" Amaneko has also undergone secondary fermentation inside the bottle, becoming a "sparkling sake".

The accompanying booklet review writes: "It can be said that this is a full-scale attempt. Even for the manufacturer, the final taste is unpredictable. This sake is a complete 'mixed bag' experience."
