Description

Nirugame (99)’
This sake appears pale yellow in color and exudes a refreshing citrusy fruit aroma. On the palate, it offers a rich sweetness with a hint of acidity, leaving a delightful aftertaste. It's incredibly easy to drink.
‘Eatable Nirugame’
Once opened, this sake has a thick consistency that might remind one of "porridge." It carries the pleasant fragrance of rice and a fermented acidity upon tasting, revealing its true nature as a sake. It pairs well with fruits, adding an extra layer of enjoyment.

The first offering of 2022, containing 'Nirugame (99)' and 'Eatable Nirugame'.
'Nirugame (99)', as the name suggests, is brewed using rice that has been polished by only 1%.
'Eatable Nirugame' is a type of nama (unpasteurized) sake with a relatively short shelf life. In order to achieve the concept of "a sake that tastes good when consumed," the rice is not excessively polished, and it's based on the foundation of 'Nirugame'. The final product has a dense consistency, making it challenging to bottle. Therefore, it is offered in a "canned" version, reflecting Akita Prefecture's "canned food culture." As a special memento, this release event includes a mask and a commemorative bottle.
