You can enjoy the unique sensation of wine yeast, refreshing acidity, elegant tartness, and ripe fruit-like sweetness in this sake. When exposed to air and brought close to room temperature, it develops a richer aroma, sweetness, and full-bodied flavor. Compared to fresh sake, it exhibits more subtle differences in taste.

In 2010, HououBiden began using wine yeast for brewing and developed the "WINE CELL" new series. Initially, it was an experimental batch with a simple text label. However, in 2012, the label was changed to the current wine label design. As a pioneer in using wine yeast, HououBiden holds a leading position in the industry.

It is made from 100% Yamada Nishiki rice, polished to 55%, from the Nishiki district in Hyogo Prefecture. The alcohol content is slightly higher, ranging from 16 to 17 degrees Celsius.
