Description

Whether it’s the aroma on the nose, the entry bouquet, the layered taste, umami, or the finish, every aspect showcases top-notch quality and reflects extraordinary brewing craftsmanship.

The classic masterpiece, Kachiiro, is now available in a version that utilizes the Tobin (bottle-hanging) method.

Kachiiro is a deep blue color that has existed in Japan since ancient times, and its name originates from traditional dyeing techniques. In the past, to allow fabrics to absorb dye more deeply, people would repeatedly beat the fabric in a process known as "katsu" (搗つ), thus giving the word “katsu” its meaning. During the Kamakura period, samurai regarded it as a color symbolizing victory, and it was widely used in armor and weapons.

In recent years, Kachiiro has also been adopted as the color of the Japanese national football team's World Cup uniforms and is hailed as "Japan Blue," symbolizing victory. Therefore, this sake also carries auspicious meanings, making it a great gift.

During the pressing process, only the naturally dripping sake (shizuku) is collected using the bag-hanging method, and it is carefully stored in Tobin bottles.
